Mini Pillbox Support
This page provides public support guidance for Mini Pillbox, including reminders, purchase restore, and common usage issues.
1. Reminder notifications are not arriving
- Open Mini Pillbox and confirm that notification permission is enabled.
- Check whether your device is blocking notifications for the app.
- Review Focus Mode, Do Not Disturb, battery optimization, or background activity restrictions.
- Confirm the medication still has at least one future reminder time and is not archived.
2. I changed time zone or device time
Open the app after the time change so reminders can be recalculated for upcoming doses. If a reminder seems stale, edit and save the medication once to force a refresh.
3. I unlocked Pro and need to restore it
Use the Restore Purchase action in Settings. Pro is intended to be restored from the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
If the restore still fails, make sure you are signed into the correct store account on the device.
4. I reinstalled the app and my medication list is gone
Mini Pillbox is local-first. Medication data is stored on the device unless you export or back it up through system-level device backup tools. Reinstalling the app may remove locally stored medication history.
Purchase status can usually be restored from the store account, but medication records themselves are not recovered from a Mini Pillbox server because the app does not run a cloud account system.
5. The app says I reached the free limit
The free version supports up to two active medications. Archiving an old medication reduces the active count. The one-time Pro unlock removes this limit.
6. Language and accessibility
Language can be changed in Settings. The app also includes an accessible mode with larger text, more spacing, and stronger contrast.
7. Important medical note
Mini Pillbox is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If a reminder issue creates uncertainty about a medication plan, follow your clinician or pharmacist guidance rather than relying on the app alone.
8. Privacy and legal requests
Mini Pillbox is designed so medication records remain on your device rather than on a dedicated Mini Pillbox backend. For many data-related requests, the practical way to delete or stop processing local medication information is to edit or remove that information on the device itself, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
If your request concerns purchase, billing, or entitlement records, the relevant data may also be processed by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat. Those requests may need to be handled through the relevant provider's own support or privacy channels.
The final public-facing publisher or support contact should be available in the relevant app marketplace listing and may also be published on this site.
